At Cliff Deun Concept & Design, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. Still, it can happen that a print doesn’t meet your expectations. Below you’ll find how to return an item and when you’ll get your money back.
Cooling-off period: 30 days
You have 30 days after receiving your order to decide whether you want to keep the print. This is longer than the statutory 14-day cooling-off period that applies to distance purchases in the Netherlands. Within this period, you can return your order (in full or in part) without giving a reason.
The cooling-off period starts on the day after you, or a third party designated by you, received the print.
Conditions for returning a product
To make sure we can process your return smoothly, please keep the following in mind:
- The print and frame are undamaged.
- You have not used or displayed the print more than necessary to assess whether it meets your expectations, in the same way you would in a physical shop.
All our prints are printed and framed to order in the size you select. Because you are choosing from an existing range of standard formats (rather than supplying your own photo, text, or design), the full right of withdrawal applies to all our products. None of our products are excluded from the right of withdrawal.
How do you report a return?
Would you like to return a product? Send an e-mail to shop@cliffdeun.com with the following details:
- Your order number
- The product you would like to return
- The reason for the return (optional, but it helps us assist you better)
You will receive a confirmation from us with further instructions on how to send back your order.
Statutory model withdrawal form
You can also choose to fill in the statutory model withdrawal form and send it to shop@cliffdeun.com. This form is not mandatory, but it’s an option if you prefer to use a standard format. You can find this form at the end of our General Terms and Conditions.
Returning the product
After reporting your return, you have 14 days to actually send the product back to Cliff Deun Concept & Design, Hoendiepstraat 40-1, 1079 LW Amsterdam.
Return shipping costs
The costs of returning the product are for your own account, except if the product arrived damaged or defective (see below).
Refund
As soon as we have received and inspected your returned item, you will receive a refund of the purchase price within 14 days. This 14-day period is a statutory maximum term intended to protect you as a consumer; we cannot extend this period, even voluntarily.
The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the order, unless otherwise agreed with you. The refund is free of charge for you.
If you chose a more expensive delivery method than our standard option, we will only refund the cost of the standard delivery method upon refund, not the difference with the more expensive method.
Damaged or defective products
Did you receive a damaged or defective print? Please contact us as soon as possible at shop@cliffdeun.com. In that case, the return shipping costs are for our account, and we will work together to find a suitable solution (repair, replacement, or refund).
Delivery time
Our standard delivery time for prints is 3-7 business days. Since each print is printed and framed to order, this may vary slightly by format; any deviating delivery times will be stated with the relevant product.
Disputes
If we cannot resolve things together, and you are a resident of the EU, you can also make use of the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
